OCIPM means Organizational Competence in Project Management. At the organizational level, project management is the systematic management of projects, programs, and portfolios to achieve an organization's strategic goals. rganization can apply to an entire company or organization as well as to specific business units, functional groups, departments or sub-groups within the whole.
OCIPM 代表组织的项目管理能力(Organizational Competence in Project Management)。在组织层面,项目管理是指针对项目,项类及其组合的系统化管理,以实现组织的战略目标。“组织”可以是整个公司或政府机构,或者是公司内部某业务单元,功能部门,团体或小组。

Projects are often implemented as a means of achieving an organization's strategic plan and a response to requests that cannot be addressed within an organization's normal operational limits. They are initiated at all levels of an organization. Successful project management can be a decisive strategic advantage in a competitive economy.

At the organizational level, project management focuses on the clear correlation between an organization's capabilities in the management of projects, programs and portfolios and its effective implementation of strategy, which directly impacts financial and operational results.

It has taken more than 10-year of development by world renowned project management authority Mr. William Duncan and fellow project management experts, deriving from extensive experience and insights. Cyberway 21PM provides consulting service, workshops, trainings, assessment, implementation, and tools based on OCIPM to help organization around the globe to establish and enhance their project management competence.

Service Outline 服务纲要
Our experienced OCIPM consultants will provide assessment of your organization's current competence using the OCIPM model. The process consists of following steps and normally takes 10 business days, including onsite and offsite time.

Pre-work. We'd like to receive a copy of your organization's strategic plan and any supportive documentation related to the long term direction of the organization. We do understand that this material is proprietary and will sign a non-disclosure agreement if you wish. We would also like a complete list of all active and planned projects in advance of our arrival on-site. We'd also like a short summary of the current status of each active project.

Kick-off meeting. This should take about 90 minutes and would include your organization's 2-3 other key individuals. We'd like to review our proposed approach and schedule, and we will probably have some questions about your strategic plan as well.

Baseline interviews. We will spend approximately 2 1/2 days conducting interviews. All of these interviews will be planned based on our pre-work. Some of these will be one-on-one, some will be two-on-one, and others will be small group discussions. All will include both structured questions from our OCiPM assessment guide as well as open-ended questions designed to provide additional context.

Improvement planning. Our fourth day on site, and the morning of the fifth, will be devoted to documenting our findings and to developing and documenting our recommendations for how to improve. During this time, we may also conduct brief follow-up interviews to confirm the accuracy of our information and understanding.

Findings and recommendations. After we perform our complete analysis, we would like to meet with you and the other kick-off meeting participants to present our findings on your organization's project management competence, including strengths and weaknesses. Our expert recommendations on what and how to improve your project management competence will be presented as well.
